Terms of Use

Effective July 24, 2026

These terms govern your use of Ekpa. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them.

What Ekpa is and Isn't

Ekpa is a research and education product. It displays your investment accounts and generates analysis with the reasoning attached, and it leaves every decision to you. Ekpa is not a broker dealer or an investment adviser. Nothing in the product is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.

No custody, read-only access

Ekpa never holds funds or securities. Brokerage connections run through SnapTrade and are read-only: they can see balances, positions, and account details, and cannot place or cancel orders, move cash, or change anything at your broker. You can disconnect at any time, and syncing stops immediately.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ekpa. Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions

Parts of Ekpa may be offered as paid subscriptions, billed through Stripe. Prices and included features are shown before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time, which stops future renewals; access continues through the period already paid for.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the product: no attempting to access other users' data, probing or disrupting the service, scraping at scale, reverse engineering, or using Ekpa for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

Ekpa and its content, software, design, text, and analysis, belong to us or our licensors. Your data remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the product for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Ekpa is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Market data, news, and analysis may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and past performance never guarantees future results. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ekpa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for trading losses, arising from your use of the product.

Termination

You can stop using Ekpa and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Ekpa after changes take effect means you accept them.
